A Splash Of Color - Original Oil Painting on Canvas By Dakota Daetwiler
Dakota painted this in July/August of 2026. It depicts a mermaid ralaxing on a gondola with her art supplies, creating a painting of the view in front of her. Her tail hangs over the edge of the boat and swishes around in the water to keep her cool while she paints. The beautiful italian canals can be seen behind her, full of tourists mulling about their day amongst the intricate and detailed old buildings. The shimmering water really gives this painting a sunny and warm feeling.
