Dakota's art is unique. It tends to lean on the more vibrant and colorful style, with hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.
Dakota creates paintings that embody the things that are meaningful to her: fantasy, nature, music, joy, happiness, harmony, animals and reading/learning.
She hopes by creating art like this that she can bring a little more magic into the world and leave it a better place than she found it.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dakota Daetwiler was born and raised in Humboldt County, California. She now resides in Maine with her family, chickens, ducks and a dog. Dakota likes to paint things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. Dakota was diagnosed with Lupus in 2021, and even though her life has changed due to her illness she continues to paint almost every day. Painting "gives her life" and keeps her going.
She appreciates any support whether it's sales, likes, or comments on her social media.
