About the art:
Dakota created this painting in March of 2022. She wanted it to represent both of her "homes" (where she grew up on the west coast, and where she lives now on the east coast.) The left is a Maine lighthouse with some local flowers (morning roses.) On the right is where she grew up, Humboldt County, CA. With it's beautiful beaches, redwood trees and wild lupine. She likes to think she resides somewhere in the middle of both, enjoying the views in a dream like state.
