"Frosty Tree" - 2023 Oil Painting by Dakota Daetwiler
I painted this piece based off of a photo I took of a tree in my front yard. We'd just had an ice storm here in Maine, and there were hundreds of little frozen drops all over the branches of the tree. When I went outside to look at it, it was absolutely captivating and looked like little diamonds sparkling all over in the sunlight. I hope this painting brings you a feeling of warmth and peace during these cold winter months.
