"Hibernation" 2024 Annual Christmas Painting by Dakota Daetwiler - Santa and his reindeer have stopped for a special delivery to some of the hibernating animals in the snowy forest. The full moon casts a beautiful glow on the trees and silhouettes the reindeer in the background. Santa opens the door to the bear's den to hand a little gift to the cub, as well as the nesting hedgehog. Some adorable raccoons look out of their tree hole to watch the scene unfold, as well as a mom and her baby fox. A wolf and her pup playfully admire Santa as he brings joy to the animals, while a pheasant stoops on top of the mother wolf with a helpful glowing lantern for Santa.
