About the Art: "Sunshine Kind of Love" By Dakota Daetwiler - 2023 - Original Oil Painting

I wanted to portray the unexpected beauty that can sometimes walk into our lives, someone with such a good heart that they remind you of sunshine, yet still have depth like the ocean. The trees on either side represent balance and similarity, while still having their own unique branches and qualities. I feel like this is similar to falling in love, you feel like you met your other half but they still have their own unique and personal attributes. The sunset was inspired by the vibrant and funky style of 70's artwork, I thought this went well with the "unexpected" beauty of this painting theme. Lupine and daisies bloom in the bottom of the painting and mix together to make a beautiful foreground. This vibrant painting brings me a lot of joy, and I hope it does for you too!
