The title speaks for itself! This magical painting of two dolphins playing around, surrounded by their many colorful fish friends as well as a treasure chest, tons of coral and other sea life. I was very inspired by my childhood love of #LisaFrank for this painting, and was sure to use a lot of bright colors and playful imagery. I love this piece and I hope you do too! It's sure to make any dolphin lover smile.
Fun facts about dolphins: Dolphins are among the most fascinating creatures on Earth, boasting an array of unique attributes that set them apart from other marine life. These highly intelligent mammals have been known to demonstrate complex problem-solving skills and can recognize their own reflections in mirrors, a sign of self-awareness. As social creatures, they form intricate communities and communicate with each other using a diverse range of vocalizations, including clicks, whistles, and body movements. In addition to their impressive swimming speeds of up to 20 miles per hour, dolphins have been observed to display remarkable acrobatics, leaping as high as 20 feet into the air. As for their sleeping habits, dolphins engage in unihemispheric sleep, which allows them to rest one hemisphere of their brain at a time while the other remains alert for predators and ensures they continue to breathe.
