The story of Gemini is: Gemini is a fascinating story rooted in Greek mythology. It revolves around the twins Castor and Pollux. Castor was mortal, while Pollux was immortal. The two became inseparable and embarked on numerous adventures together. When Castor was mortally wounded, Pollux, unable to bear the loss, asked Zeus to grant them immortality as a pair. In response, Zeus placed them in the night sky as the constellation Gemini, forever united.

"Geminis are flexible, extroverted, and clever, and there's never a boring moment while they're around." is the way Gemini can often be described. The two celestial spirits back to back represent the sometimes oppositional traits of Gemini. You can also find the birthstones for the months of May (Emerald) and June (Alexandrite) in the crown. The Birth flowers for May and June are also present along the bottom corners, Roses and Lily of the valley. The Gemini constellation is present in between the two, in the center of the painting (another nod to their story of always being together.) The Gemini symbol can be found in the design above their heads, in the center. The two bright orbs in the sky with the stars swirling all around them represent the intriguing balance of Gemini having two different sides that are similar yet also different.
